Aidan Epstein is a bassist in Los Angeles, California. He specializes in electric bass, keybass, and upright bass playing across a wide range of styles and genres and has experience performing, touring, and recording with international and local acts as well as worship teams and corporate/ wedding bands.
Aidan currently is active with R&B, blues, and fusion artists in LA and plays at 2nd Baptist Church of Monrovia.
Before relocating to LA, Aidan was a regular performer at Chicago mainstays such as Kingston Mines, Buddy Guy's Legends, and Rosas. He's shared the stage with Buddy Guy, Dan Souvigny, Joanna Connor, Rico Mcfarland, Omar Coleman, and Jamiah Rogers, with whom he toured Europe in summer of 2022. Aidan also played with Polyvinyl Records artist Diane Coffee from 2019-2021 when he performed live on KEXP and completed several national tours alongside major indie artists.
Aidan also has been an instructor of undergraduate level music classes and individual lessons on bass and music theory. He holds a MA in Jazz Studies from the University of Pittsburgh is available for hire as a bassist, session or touring musician, and private lesson / instructor of music courses.
